Space rides

i was wondering, how do you make a space ride without the track but with scenery included? i tried it with sliverspace and everything vanished! how do i fix it?

can you show a pic. of what your talking about? this'll give me a better angle to see what you are saying, as far as everything has vanished. Only because there could be a couple of reasons for this. know what i mean?

Well i don't know if there is away to get around that. i figured whoever thought of the idea, didn't think it out too much, but they probably thought that it looks funny without a track, kinda. I did notice that you had the scenery on, and the ride supports turned off, so that kinda blew my idea out off the water. that was one of my thoughts for you to do, but you already done it.

look closer at the pics! (for the support thing)

Ive seen videos of people using sliverfas pack without track, but the ride still had scenery. ill see if one of my other sets doesnt dissapear when I turn it off.....

This looks like he's got the scenery turned on, and the track and supports turned off. If all else fails go to atari and PM him to see how he had done this!! Sorry for no further help for you (: I tried.

There's only 4 ways you can try this:
1- turn everything on
2- turn everything off
3- turn the scenery off, and keep ride track and supports on
4- turn the ride track and supports off, and keep the scenery on

slight problem with #'s 3 and 4: its not just 'toggle scenery', its 'toggle scenery and rides'. if it was just 'toggle scenery', I wouldnt have a prob, so i guess ill have to ask him.

unless.....I gotta try somethin, hang on a min.....

EDIT: nope. I was seeing if the screen recorder captures scenery regardless of the visible aspects and settings. Ill go ask him....

EDIT 2: nevermind, I found out, it seems I had to turn down the draw distance for the track to vanish! maybe I should have done a quick search first......
